Memorial Service for Dody Goodman Announced

As per Linda Amiel Burns:

DODY GOODMAN MEMORIAL
AT
ST. PETER'S CHURCH
ON
OCT. 27 AT 7:00PM

The beloved comedienne, Dody Goodman, will be remembered in a Memorial Celebration to be held on October 27th at 7:00 in the evening, in Saint Peter's Church, 619 Lexington Avenue (entrance on 54th Street). Miss Goodman's career spanned over 75 years: she began as a teen-aged ballet dancer, and became a popular Broadway, Off-Broadway, cabaret, radio, television, and film performer, remaining active in show business until she was in her 90's. Dody loved The Singing Experience and participated in the workshop many times. She was always learning and improving her skills. I was privileged to direct her cabaret act that was performed at The New York Sheet Music Society and on the condo circuit. Scheduled to share their memories are: George S. Irving, Richard Skipper, Leroy Reams, Donald Sadler, KT Sullivan, and myself, among many others. Miss Goodman's never-before-seen film, which was based on her book, “Women, Women, Women!” will be shown. A reception will follow.

Seating is limited so it is important that you call or e-mail to be put on the GUEST LIST, either contact Joan Adams, at 212-875-2834 - email joa@corcoran.com or Richard Skipper: 845 365-0720 Richard@richardskipper.com.
