The Wonder of Woodlawn

I received my newsletter from the Woodlawn Cemetery today. Sure, that may seem odd, but it happens to be one of New York's largest, oldest and unquestionably most beautiful cemeteries, and it is also where Clyde Fitch, my namesake, is interred.

The above link, by the way, is based on copy I worked on pro bono for Susan Olsen, who heads up the nonprofit Friends of Woodlawn. Susan has done unbelievable work getting the cemetery attention and of raising money to restore many neglected burial sites. Clyde Fitch was the first of these, by the way.
