Nifty Interview with Alison Croggon

....who? She's the theatre critic for the Australian, down under, and I thought this Q&A with her was pretty interesting. I do get a little tired of reading about how much more important (hinting at how much better) her blog is to her regular work -- to me, the two are rather complementary factors and should not be put into a qualitative competition. Still, I enjoyed the interview.

Did you deiberately mean to misspell her first and last names?

Not at all. Just fixed it.

Did you deliberately mean to misspell "deliberately"?

I could pretend it was deiberately but I'd be lying.

Thanks for reminding me of the benefits of posting anonymously.

Just out of curiosity, and while I'm in spelling Nazi mode, did you happen to misspell your own first name on the Slowlearner blog about a month ago, or is there Russian heritage in your family?

Don't know what you're referring to. Tell me who you are and we'll discuss it. Or contact me privately.

I'm referring to a comment on Slowlearner last month regarding The Cultural Project:

"Posted by: Leonid Jacobs | December 07, 2007 at 01:16 PM"

I can be contacted at kimwa@aapt.net.au.

Thanks for the notice, Leonard. I didn't see the misspelling, but everybody does it. It's almost happened (twice) on my own books...

Just a quibble, though. I actually wasn't saying blogging was more important. Just that it's where I do my "real" reviews, because I have more than 400 words to say what I mean, and so am able to say it. In fact, they are complementary activities as far as I'm concerned. I really like working for the Oz.
