Hey, Leonard - thanks for writing the only accurate review of this production I've read. It's staged brilliantly, yes, but somehow the play itself has gone missing; a little boring and a little depressing is how I'd sum it up, in the end. And people should definitely bring their ear plugs.
Thanks for brining this one up. Interesting both as a review and as writing. It takes a lot to "break" a Shakespeare play, and even if the layers of effects don't fully mute Shakespeare's voice...it is worthwhile to point out that innovation and true story-telling do not always go hand in hand.
